The caramel we use for our caramel apples is not the same caramel we sell by the pound. The recipe differs a little bit, but for the most part it is very similar. The caramel apple caramel is a secret recipe. It was developed by Cindy, the owner, over a long time and many bad batches. After we have cooked the caramel, we are ready to dip fresh, crisp granny smith apples into the caramel. We use granny smith apples because there is a good contrast between the sweetness of the caramel and the tartness of the apple.
Here are some of the caramel apples we sell:
Plain Caramel Apple - A granny smith apple dipped in delicious caramel

Rodeo Caramel Apple - A plain caramel apple drizzled with milk and dark chocolate

Sea Salt Caramel Apple - A caramel apple drizzled with either milk or dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt.

Pecan Classic Caramel Apple - A caramel apple rolled in pecans

Almond Classic Caramel Apple - A caramel apple rolled in roasted and salted almonds
